Vanderhoof RCMP received 149 files which included 16 prisoners from May 13 until May 27.
Staff Sgt. Laurie Clarkson, detachment commander sent a release to the Omineca Express with three files from the time period on May 27.
Fire
Local police responded to a call of a fire near railway track on May 14, approximately 7 kms east of Vanderhoof.
The fire was seen by a passing truck conductor who called it in. Once RCMP members arrived on scene they found an unattended fire on the tracks with a box of matches located close by.
The fire was located in a secluded, forested area, and was put out without incident, police said.

Motorbike accident
On May 23, RCMP responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident in which the motorbike had been driven into a ditch on Snell/Loop road.
Police attended and noted that poor road conditions may have contributed to the bikes inability to remain on the road.
The driver was transported to Prince George hospital with minor injuries.
Motor vehicle accident
On May 27, police were informed of a single motor vehicle accident that occurred on May 22. While travelling on the Kluskus Forest Service Road, a pick-up truck reportedly rolled and ejected one of its passengers.
As a result, a male was transported to Vancouver General Hospital with serious injuries.
The incident is currently under investigation and police are asking anyone with information to contact the Vanderhoof RCMP at 250-567-2222, or 1-800-222-8477.
