One man was shot and another stabbed following a fight early Tuesday in Maple Ridge.
Ridge Meadows RCMP closed off a section of Laity Street on both sides of Lougheed Highway after receiving about shots fired around 8 a.m.
Officers arrived to find two men injured in two different locations along Laity.
Police allege the dispute was over illegal street drugs.
Both victims were transported to Royal Columbian Hospital and are in critical condition.
RCMP continue to investigate and are looking for witnesses.
