A 19-year-old man was stabbed in the parking lot of Thetis Lake at 10 a.m. on Dec. 6.
The victim called West Shore RCMP and met officers at a nearby gas station. He was taken to Victoria General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The victim told police he did not know his attacker and it was an unprovoked attack.
The suspect was described as a First Nations man, five-foot-ten with long black hair.
The victim has stopped co-operating with police and West Shore RCMP is asking anyone with information or who witnessed the event to call the detachment at 250-474-2264.
