A 56-year-old man was arrested outside his Surrey home Monday afternoon, after Surrey RCMP received a report he had threatened to kill another man during a dispute.
At approximately 3:30 p.m., Mounties responded to a call from the other male, who said he had gone to a home in the 14000-block of 110 Ave. to recover items which belonged to him from the suspect.
The caller said a discussion between the two men, who were known to each other, became heated. One man produced a weapon and threatened to kill the other male, who fled and called police.
Police took the suspect into custody as he exited the home. Other people inside the residence were questioned.
