A man with a stolen credit card from Joe’s Plumbing and Heating in Osoyoos was convicted on Friday at the Penticton Courthouse.
Osoyoos man Cameron McRae, 44, was convicted of possession of stolen property after pleading guilty to the charge related to a break and enter at Joe’s Plumbing and Heating in December, 2014.
On Jan. 18, 2015 police received a call regarding a break and enter at a winery in Osoyoos. Officers found a vehicle stuck on the property trying to smash through a fence. The male occupant, McRae, was arrested and found to be in possession of stolen property.
A search of McRae found he had a stolen credit card on him which had come from the break-in a month earlier.
McRae was convicted on Aug. 21 and is well known to police.
