Marina team sets geotechnical tests
Geotechnical engineers are at work on the proposed site of the Victoria International Marina this week.
The objective is to learn more about the physical properties of the soil and rocks, in order to develop detailed foundation designs for the proposed docks and structures.
The testing, which will take place on a barge, will consist of six cone-penetration tests and a single test hole at the foot of Paul Kane Place, a property owned by the Victoria International Marina.
