Emergency crews responded to reports of an injured kayaker in Lake Country.
At approximately 12:45 p.m. on Aug. 5, authorities recieved notice of a potential marine rescue near Kalamaka Lake.
When Lake Country Fire Department Lieutenant Eric Degelder arrived, the kayaker was being towed in to shore near Crystal Waters Road and being tended to by B.C. Ambulance.
The man cut his finger.
“He felt a little woozy,” Degelder said.
The man is ok.
