On Nov. 12, there was a report at 10:08 a.m. of a company truck abandoned on Highway 3 near the Omega Restaurant in Grand Forks.
Upon inspection, it was observed that the ignition had been tampered with and Grand Forks RCMP confirmed that the 1996 Dodge pickup was stolen from McLeod’s By-Products in Armstrong, B.C.
“Nobody saw who left the truck there but it was reported stolen,” said Grand Forks RCMP Staff Sgt. Jim Harrison. “I’m assuming it was stolen out of Armstrong and brought here but it has been recovered.”
