Meet local candidates from Chilliwack running in the federal election

Here are a few Chilliwack all-candidates' events ahead of the Oct. 21 election

Here are a few events ahead of the Oct. 21 federal election for Chilliwack-Hope voters to meet their candidates and see them in action.

The Chilliwack Healthier Community network is hosting an all-candidates event on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at their Information & Networking Breakfast, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Neighbourhood Learning Centre (inside Chilliwack secondary).

Next up is the Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Business Improvement Association jointly hosting an all-candidates’ forum, Wednesday, Sept. 25, starting at 6 p.m. in the Cultural Centre on Corbould St.

This “Federal Debate” event will be livestreamed through the Chamber YouTube page. Questions for candidates can be submitted through Slido seven days ahead of time. The login code will only be released once the question period is officially open.

The Chamber is conducting a survey about federal election priorities from a business perspective. Register to attend the event and fill out the survey online.

The third event is The Rotary Club of Chilliwack Fraser hosting its All-Candidates Debate for the federal election on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2019, at their noon luncheon meeting at the SureStay Hotel By Best Western.
