Michelle Mungall will be focusing on her most important constituent for the next couple months.
The Nelson-Creston MLA and Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources went on maternity leave last week, according to a statement from her local community office.
Mungall will return to work by the end of September prior to the resumption of the legislative session. Bruce Ralston, the Minister of Jobs, Trade and Technology, will assume Mungall’s ministerial duties while she is away.
Her office in Nelson will also remain open Monday to Thursday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with staff available to constituents.
