Repairs slated for the French Creek Bridge may cause some minor delays to motorists travelling both directions.
Mainroad Mid Island Contracting will conduct the steel repair on the bridge, located on Island Highway 19A just north of Parksville, starting on Aug. 4 to Sept. 11.
The work will be done Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Mainroad Mid Island Contracting thanked the public in advance for their patience and asked that they show respect for all roadside crews by slowing down.
