Missing 19-year-old last seen in South Surrey April 12

Police appeal for help locating Sooner Plantinga

Surrey RCMP are asking for the public’s help locating a woman who was last seen in South Surrey a month ago.

Sooner Plantinga has not been seen or heard from since 11 p.m. April 12, when she was in the 2000-block of 156A Street, according to a news release.

Plantinga is described as a 165-lb, five-foot-five, 19-year-old Caucasian, with long bleach-blonde hair and brown eyes.

“Police and family members are concerned for her health and well-being,” the release states.

Police say Plantinga is known to drive a grey Honda Accord (B.C. licence plate HN153T), and frequently visit Surrey, Courtenay, Union Bay and Coombs.
