A Nanaimo man, missing for nearly one month, has been found safe and sound.
Gordon Krompocker, 36, who has been missing since July 25, was located in Ottawa, Ont., Thursday.
Police said Krompocker’s mother informed them her son had sent an e-mail in which he said he was staying at men’s shelter in the city.
Police called the shelter and confirmed Krompocker is staying there.
Police had requested the public’s help to find him when he disappeared in July and at the time said he had been found in the Lower Mainland and Ontario in previous instances when he had gone missing.
