Anyone attending this year’s Vernon Winter Carnival parade can do a super deed for someone in need.
The Upper Room Mission will have a float in the Saturday event and non-perishable food items will be collected.
“We will be dressed as Souper Heroes pushing grocery carts,” said Monique Lee, with URM.
“We are partnering with Save On Foods and Campbell’s Soup this year and we are asking everyone to bring a food donation to fill our shopping carts.”
Campbell’s has agreed to match any donations of Campbell’s items.
