Fellner has been the district’s “top cop” for the past two years after taking over the position in June of 2017.

“The sense of community in Mission has been amazing and the support I have received here makes leaving bittersweet. However, as with any career, new challenges and opportunities arise which will now take me to Coquitlam Detachment.”

After joining the RCMP in 1996, Fellner’s policing career took her across the Western provinces in a diverse range of roles, including the Serious and Organized Crime Unit, the Financial Integrity and Commercial Crime Unit, a Detachment Commander to five rural communities, and a Regional District Officer.

Here final day on the job in Mission is not yet known.

“My start date in Coquitlam has not been finalized and the process to select my replacement is underway.”
