Police found a “sophisticated” marijuana grow operation in the 30800-block of Keystone Avenue in Mission.
Although the plants had already been cultivated, Mounties removed 83 pounds (38 kg) of dry marijuana with an estimated $200,000 street value.
RCMP Sgt. Miriam Dickson said police executed a search warrant July 22 as part of an ongoing surveillance investigation with the RCMP Crime Reduction Unit, and discovered a a large grow-op in the outbuilding of the property, in addition to 100 bags of planting soil in preparation for a new crop.
The investigation is ongoing, but Dickson said anyone with information about this grow-op, or any suspected drug activity, should call Mission RCMP at 604-826-7161.
