The snow is not stopping. Environment Canada has issued yet another snowfall warning for Bella Coola.
A long period of snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 25 cm is expected. A frontal wave will cross the BC coast today. A second much stronger frontal system will follow and pass through BC coast tonight and Friday.
Associated with these weather systems, heavy snow will develop over the inland sections of the Central Coast today then spread to the inland sections of the North Coast tonight and Friday. Total snowfall amounts of up to 25 cm are expected by Friday afternoon.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
By Saturday it will become colder as well. Environment Canada is calling for lows of -7 overnight moving into -22 by next Monday.
Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
