It was about twice the price of any other expensive property in Maple Ridge.
But even listed at $6.3 million, the home was ranked way down the list, number 70, of the top 100 properties in the Fraser Valley, where the highest residential property is valued at $31.6 million and is located in Surrey.
The Maple Ridge home is located in the 22800-block of 127 Place and is the most expensive within the city.
Figures from B.C. Assessment’s most recent data shows the 10 highest-valued properties in Maple Ridge were all in the $3-million range.
The second-most expensive property from the 2018 assessment list is in the 13000-block of Alouette Road at $3.23 million, while a home out on 264th Street in the 10100-block was priced at $3.15 million.
Two other properties in the 264th Street area were also priced in the same range, one of them on 264th Street and 103rd Avenue ($3.15 million) and another at 260th Street and 124th Avenue ($3.14 million).
On Patterson Avenue at 202nd Street, there’s a home listed at $3.04 million, while a similarly priced home is located at 136th Avenue and 220th Street.
Two homes on River Road, one near 218th Street and the other near 214th Street, were both listed at $2.9 million in assessed value while the last of the top 10 top properties was located on Dewdney Trunk Road and 258th Street and valued at $2.87 million.
In Pitt Meadows, the top-valued home is located on Richardson Road in the 19600-block and assessed at $3.48 million.
The next priciest Pitt Meadows home at $3.26 million is at 149th Street on Patrick Road, while Richardson Road again, at 198th Street, is the location of the third-most expensive home listed at $2.98 million.
Ford Road, out at 187th Street, is the location for the fourth most expensive home which is valued at $2.86 million while a similarly priced home on Harris Road and 130th Street is number five.
The sixth-most expensive home in Pitt Meadows is on Old Dewdney Trunk Road, in the 20000 block, and valued at $2.81 million and the seventh most expensive is at Richardson Road and 194th Street, at $2.61 million.
A home valued at $2.45 million is in the 19600-block of Mcneil Road and is eighth most expensive, while a home at Fenton Road near 19400 block is valued at $2.33 million.
The 10th priciest Pitt Meadows home is in the 19800-block of Mcneil Road and is assessed at $2.26 million.
Last year in Maple Ridge, the home that brought the highest selling price at $2.75 million was located at 267th Street and 123rd Avenue.
Last year in Pitt Meadows, the home that brought the highest selling price $1.32 million was located on McMyn Avenue in the 12200-block.
