Nine purebred Chocolate Labs born March 26 are ready to open their eyes and start getting frisky as Mother’s Day approaches for the Seselja family. Canine mom Molly, is the daughter of the Seselja’s older dog Abby and her litter is growing strong thanks to round the clock care from the family including Grandma Rita. The puppies will be up for adoption May 26 and will go to their new homes June 26. Lesley said this is their third litter from the two moms and their last but her family will be keeping a little boy this time. Besides raising her boys and teaching art to kids, Lesley hosts the annual Nanoose Bay art in the garden fundraiser in July.
