A mud slide 15 km north of Lillooet is affecting Sunday morning traffic on Highway 99.
The highway has been reduced to one lane since about 8 a.m., on Sunday, June 24, according to Drive BC, allowing for traffic from both direction to alternate passage.
Commercial trucks travelling the highway’s 20 km stretch between Fountain Valley Road and Pavilion-Clinton Road are asked to reduce loads by half of the legal limit.
The ministry of transportation and infrastructure has not yet released further information about when the highway will be clear.
