A wind storm is keeping BC Hydro crews busy Saturday morning as they respond to multiple power outages around Greater Victoria.
At 7 a.m. Saturday morning, 15,172 people in southern Vancouver Island are without power.
In #VancouverIsland #GulfIslands we have large outages in #Colwood #Langford #Metchosin #PenderIsland #SaturnaIsland and #Saanich along with some other area facing smaller outages. Crews will be working throughout the day to get power back to everyone affected.

Colwood, Langford and Metchosin have been hit hard with one area showing 1,667 without power, another with 964 and a third with 1415 out of power since 1:45 a.m.
In Cordova Bay, 885 have been without power since 11:26 p.m. due to a wire down.
An outage is affecting 1900 customers in Oak Bay and Cadboro Bay area.
Trees down across wires in Sidney has 1,066 people without power.
