NDP Candidate for Nelson-Creston, Michelle Mungall, is kicking off her re-election campaign with the opening of her Creston Campaign Office this Saturday afternoon at 1403A Canyon St.

Mungall has served two terms as MLA for Nelson-Creston and is proud of her record to keep Jumbo wild, reduce poverty for more than 6000 children, and speak for the issues that matter to the Kootenays. She is eager to continue working to build a better BC with John Horgan as Premier.

“We need a new Premier – one who is interested is making life better for British Columbians, not just the millionaires who donate to Christy Clark’s campaign,” Mungall said. “NDP Leader John Horgan would make living in this province more affordable by eliminating MSP premiums, introducing $10/day childcare and investing in better homecare for seniors.”

Mungall added that the NDP will focus on creating good-paying jobs by building a 21st century energy sector that reduces carbon emissions, and will also reinvest in our forest and agricultural sectors.

She’ll be on hand to discuss her party’s election platform as she kicks off her re-election campaign this Saturday, April 8th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.at the NDP Campaign Office located at 1403A Canyon Street.

“Everyone is invited to get involved for the May 9 election, so come celebrate, volunteer, pick up a sign and have fun.”
