One of three people accused in the March, 2009 murder of Marc Bontkes has been ordered to stand trial.
A 20-year-old woman, whose name cannot be published because she was under 18 at the time of the murder, will soon appear in B.C. Supreme Court in New Westminster. She is charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder in the death of Bontkes, a 33-year-old Langley resident. He was found dead in Hi-Knoll Park on the Surrey-Langley border on March 19, 2009.
Roy Michael Thielen and Robert David Bradshaw are also facing charges of first-degree murder and conspiracy in connection with the killing. The two also are charged with first-degree murder in the death of Laura Lamoureux, 36. She was found shot to death in the 20200-block 50 Avenue in Langley City on March 14, 2009.
The woman is not charged in connection with Lamoreux’ death.
