The Museum of the Cariboo Chilcotin will hold its annual general meeting tonight, Wednesday, Nov. 23 starting at 7 p.m. at city hall.
Volunteers are needed and board positions are available.
Museum memberships are $10 and help to support the museum.
Located at the Borland Street and Fourth Ave. the Museum of the Cariboo Chilcotin is home to the B.C. Cowboy Hall of Fame.
Special exhibits include artifacts, photos, videos, and written accounts of ranching with extensive historical information about the local area.
The gift shop offers western art, books and videos with a special focus on western poets and musicians.
Archival collections are open to the public for research.
The annual Cowboy Christmas Craft Sale and Cowboy Concert held in the Gibraltar Room Saturday, Nov. 19 is the museum’s main fundraiser of the year.
