The sounds of more than a dozen musical talents will fill Memorial Park in West Kelowna Friday as Music in the Park welcomes Westbank Country Opry to the stage.
Westbank Country Opry is an ensemble of grassroots performers from the Okanagan Valley and around B.C.
Typically, Music in the Park features an opening act and a separate headline act; however, this Friday, Westbank Country Opry’s artists will treat country fans to a nearly two-hour performance.
The July 19 edition of Music in the Park will begin with talented kid, Taylor Hickson before Westbank Country Opry takes the stage at 7:15 p.m.
The free, family-friendly, Music in the Park concert series takes place every Friday night from 6:45 to 9 p.m. through Aug. 30 at Memorial Park, adjacent to Johnson Bentley Memorial Aquatic Centre.
