The theft of ‘mystical wands’ was one incident in a series of thefts last month in the Parksville-Qualicum Beach area.
Oceanside RCMP recently released a crime report for a one-week period in May and noted that police were called to respond to 277 complaints May 12-18.
On May 16, RCMP received a report of a break-and-enter of a business in the 100 block of Craig Street. Entry was made by damaging the front door and ‘mystical wands’ valued at $2,600 were reported stolen.
