Residents are being encouraged to give city council a piece of their mind regarding a strategic plan for Nanaimo.

Councillors are asking citizens to provide feedback on a draft version of 2019-2022 strategic plan, which is now available on the city’s website.

Council’s strategic plan is a guiding document that will layout what their strategic priorities are over the next four years. According to a city press release, the plan helps guide future projects and inform decision-making.

“Council’s strategic plan represents the values and priorities that are important to us, and for which we were elected. Receiving feedback from the community is an important part of the planning process and we look forward to hearing from residents,” said Nanaimo Mayor Leonard Krog in the release.
