Nanaimo RCMP find man missing since last week

Shawn Miller, 52, hasn't been seen since Friday following days of erratic behaviour, say police

UPDATE: Nanaimo RCMP report the man has been located safe and sound.

PREVIOUSLY REPORTED: Nanaimo RCMP are asking for the public’s help to locate a man who hasn’t been seen since last week.

According to police, the 52-year-old’s behaviour in recent days has been described as erratic with significant mood swings and his friends and family are extremely concerned for his safety and well-being.

Shawn Miller is currently of no fixed address and extensive patrols for him in the downtown core proved unsuccessful.

Miller is Caucasian, 6-feet-1, 220 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. When last seen he was wearing a blue hoodie with a beer design on the front.

Anyone who knows of Miller’s whereabouts is asked to call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345 and quote file No. 2020-41982.
