Nanaimo Mounties have a brand new mountain bike they would like to return it to its rightful owner.
According to an RCMP press release, police seized the bike on March 11 from two individuals in Nanaimo well known for being involved in property-related offences whose answers were less than convincing when they were quizzed about how came into possession of the bike.
Based on the evidence at hand, officers determined the bike was most likely stolen and it was in the public interest to seize it and attempt to find the rightful owner.
The bike is a black and blue Nakamura Monster in excellent condition.
Anyone with information about who might own this bike is asked to contact the Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345 and quote file No. 2019-8374.
