Same-day appointments for the COVID-19 vaccine will be on offer at a neighbourhood clinic on Saturday, June 12 at Rosedale elementary.
Fraser Health officials say the clinic will administer first doses only of the vaccines to Chilliwack residents and families, ages 12 and older.
People are asked to bring their health card numbers and photo ID if they have them, and wear a mask.
Appointments will be available from from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., while vaccine supplies last.
Folks are asked to stay away if they are sick, have COVID-19, or if they have been asked to self-isolate.
Health officials will be on-hand to assist anyone without a health number or photo ID, using a low-barrier approach, and individuals seeking to be vaccinated won’t need to have pre-registered.
The neighbourhood vaccine clinic will be at Rosedale Traditional Community School, at 50850 Yale Road, Rosedale.
