The Nelson Police Department reports that it has identified and arrested a Nelson man of no fixed address as the person responsible for a spree of damage to vehicles on February 26.
The damage consisted mainly of slashed tires and appeared to be random, the police said in a news release.
The suspect, previously known to the police, was released to appear in court in Nelson on July 5 on charges of mischief to property over $5,000.
