On Monday afternoon officers responded to the 500 block of Baker Street where an effigy was hanging from a rope off the upper section of a building. The effigy had a sign that read “Stop Harper.” Several members of the public initially thought someone was in danger and had called 911. Police say no one took responsibility for the event. The department says a protest of this violent nature is very inappropriate.
