The Quesnel School District has announced three new principals and vice-principals for some of its schools.
Marissa Knauf will be the new vice-principal for Correlieu Secondary School, Beth Collingwood has been announced as the principal for Bouchie Lake Elementary School and Mike Tate will take over as principal for Lakeview Elementary school.
All appointments will take effect August 1, 2019.
According to a District press release, Correlieu’s new VP has served as principal of Parkland Elementary for the past two years. and was previously the VP at Quesnel Junior School as well as École Baker Elementary.
Knauf holds a Bachelor of Education degree and a Masters of Leadership and Administration Degree too.
Collingwood is currently the principal of Lakeview Elementary and held positions as principal at Kersley Elementary and Wells-Barkerville Elementary Schools.
She also holds a Bachelor of Education degree as well as a Masters of Arts in Education Leadership and Management degree.
Tate will take over from Collingwood at Lakeview Elementary. He is currently the VP for both Voyageur Elementary and École Red Bluff Lhtako Elementary and was previously the VP at École Baker Elementary.
He holds a Bachelor of Education degree as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree and is currently enrolled in the Masters of Educational Technology program at the University of British Columbia.
