Maple Ridge’s new MP has another new task to take on.
Former B.C. Liberal MLA Marc Dalton, elected as Conservative MP in the October federal election, is now president of the Paris-based Assemblee Parlementaire de la Francophonie, an international group composed of French-speaking legislators from around the world.
“Marc was designated president of Assemblee Parlementaire de la Francophonie. Welcome, Marc,” said a tweet from the Conservative Party.
