Discovery House is hosting a third in its series of Sunday Night Speakers on Jan. 27.
Dave R. of Kelowna, a former client and volunteer at the House, recently celebrated 19 years of being clean will be the special guest.

“We have sorely missed his presence as one of the old-timers in Penticton but are glad to have him back for just one night,” said Discovery’s executive director Jerome Abraham. “I have learned a lot about compassion for those suffering with addiction and mental health challenges from this man and I am sure you will too.”

Dave will be speaking in the Loft at Discovery House at 633 Winnipeg St. and donations to the Discovery House society will be accepted.
“Here’s your chance to hear an incredible story of recovery from an amazing man who has changed his life, and is now helping others do the same,” said Abraham.
The talk begins at 7 p.m. on Jan. 27.
