No end to bitter weather in sight for Abbotsford

More snow on the way, paired with more sub-zero temperatures

  • Feb. 9, 2019 12:00 a.m.

If you think we’re just about clear of the bitter weather, then think again. As winds tear through the Fraser Valley not long after the city’s first snowfall of the year, we’re not far off from more potential snow.

According to the Environment Canada weather forecast, we should expect to see more snow in the week to come, including on Monday.

Tomorrow, expect a chance of flurries with temperatures only expected to reach a high of -4 C, followed by flurries Monday during the day with a high of -1 C and full-on snow Monday night with a low of -4 C.

The week ahead, in general, is looking pretty bitter, with little reprieve from the harsh weather. Whether it’s snow, rain showers or sub-zero temperatures, it’s not good.
