Northern Health is setting up a COVID-19 vaccine clinic for adults above the age of 18 at the Skeena Valley Farmers Market this Saturday (May 15).
The booth will be set up on the south side of the market, towards Park Ave., confirmed marker manager Ellie Wright.
“Northern Health was looking for a location for a drop-in vaccine clinic and the Farmers Market is happy to host them,” said Wright.
The vaccine booth will be accepting drop-ins for all adults above the age of 18, in accordance with Northern Health’s ongoing vaccination drive.
The vaccine booth is expected to be at the market for the following three Saturdays until the end of May, depending on Northern Health’s capacity.
The Skeena Valley Farmers Market is held on Saturdays at George Little Park from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
