The Oak Bay Fire Department held their annual Halloween bonfire tonight. As things wound down at Trick or Treat on the Avenue, families wandered over to Fireman’s Park behind the Oak Bay Fire Hall for another treasured tradition. Kids were allowed to test out the real fire hose to help keep the blaze under control. There were costume parades for kids and pets and the Kiwanis Club provided hotdogs, popcorn and beverages.

The community was once again treated to a raging bonfire, costume parades, and snacks thanks to Oak Bay Fire and Kiwanis Club.
