Okanagan Falls have started the beginning of their beautification project with the help of local wineries.

Jackson Triggs, See Ya Later Ranch winery and the Jack Myers Family Winery on McLean Creek road donated 30 half barrels for flower pots spaced around the town site on Highway 97.

“This is a great opportunity for Okanagan Falls and brings back shades of 1960 when the street was graced with flowers,” said RDOS alternate director Tom Styffe. “It is but a small step in a large project to reinvigorate our community.”

Local businesses have adopted the barrel located in front of their shops.
