The Okanagan Skaha School District is launching a new opportunity for students looking for a summer job.
Trevor Knowlton, a teacher at Summerland Secondary School, has launched the SD67 Careers Department, for students who are interested in a part time job with a local business over the summer.

The program did not receive any provincial funding for this but that hasn’t stopped Knowlton from starting the program.
The program has flyers that are now in the three high schools in the school district. All students have to do is scan the QR code on the bottom of the flyer with their cellphone and it will send them a list of job postings.
Employers can go to the website at www.careers67.ca and post about new job opportunities available.
