The Town of Oliver is now in Stage 3 of water restrictions.
Properties are now limited to a single day of watering, for those within town boundaries and portions of the surrounding Regional District area.
Residential users with homes that have odd-numbers are allowed to water on Wednesdays, while even-numbered homes can water on Fridays.
Agricultural, commercial and industrial users are also being asked to further reduce their usage beyond the 30 per cent they were asked for Stage 2.

Residents are encouraged to adjust their residential underground irrigation systems to water lawns, trees and shrubs between midnight and 7 a.m. on their watering day.
Extra hand watering is permitted for personal gardens, trees and shrubs.
The town’s public works crews and bylaw will be visiting properties that may be violating these restrictions, and issuing fines of $250 for those who are watering in excess of what they are allowed.
