A 47-year-old Oliver woman is dead after a single vehicle was found at the bottom of an embankment just north of Osoyoos.
Just after 5 a.m. Oct. 10 Osoyoos RCMP were notified of a single vehicle collision on Nk’mip Road.
A passerby observed vehicle lights shining from approximately 100 feet down an embankment. The vehicle, a GMC Jimmy, appeared to have gone off road on and down the embankment coming to rest on its wheels. The lone occupant, a 47-year-old female resident of Oliver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The collision is still under investigation, police said.
