An 18-year-old female is dead after a single vehicle rollover, Monday.
RCMP responded to the accident Aug. 29 approximately two kilometres north of Olsen Road on the Quesnel Hixon Road.
Their investigation revealed three female youths, aged 17 and 18 and one adult male, age 21 were driving an F-350 pickup south on Quesnel-Hixon Road.
As the truck was traveling through several sharp corners, the driver lost control of the vehicle which then spun and left the roadway on the opposite side of the road where it then overturned.
The driver, 18, was not wearing a seat belt and was partially ejected from the vehicle as it flipped.
She suffered serious head injuries and died at the scene. The passengers received minor injuries and were treated and released at G.R. Baker Hospital.
Names are being withheld at the request of the family.
