Three people faces charges in connection with a stolen pickup truck last week.
Sebastien Valentine Robichaud, 27, remains in custody and was in Chilliwack court on Friday facing one count of possession of stolen property under $5,000.
Also charged, but not in custody, are Mackenzie Ashley-Lynn Gilfillan, 21, of Chilliwack, and Nicole Lyn Thomas, 32, of Calgary.
They each are charged with one count of taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent.
On Jan. 9 at around 11 a.m., a pickup truck that had been reported to police stolen earlier that morning was spotted travelling from Williams Street to a residence in the 9300-block of Broadway Street by a Prolific Offender Suppression Team (POST) officer.

POST, supported by Chilliwack RCMP general duty officers and the Lower Mainland District Integrated Police Dog Service (IPDS), arrived at the home where three occupants of the vehicle were arrested.
“An alert RCMP officer and the timely deployment of police resources were key to the arrests and recovery of a stolen vehicle,” according to Chilliwack RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Mike Rail.
Robichaud appeared in provincial court in Chilliwack on Friday scheduled for a bail hearing, but he remains in custody and that was put over until Jan. 21.
Gilfillan and Thomas were both released from custody and are due in court on Jan. 22.
None of the three have any history with provincial courts in B.C., according to records on Court Services Online.
