Bryan “Everett” O’Reilly’s trial for his role in the 2014 Boxing Day murders in Anahim Lake, BC, is scheduled to begin January 15, 2018 at the B.C Supreme Court of New Westminster.
O’Reilly is charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of Kalvin Andy and Matthew Hennigar.
Last December Serena Rhem (Mack) and Christan Craciun were acquitted of second-degree murder in the killings while Andrew Jongbloets was found guilty of the lesser charge of manslaughter.
Police said the victims and accused were known to one another, although their relationships and the motive for the killings were not released at the time.
The judge granted an application from the defence lawyer to apply a publication ban on all evidence heard during trial.
