Oceanside RCMP received 238 complaints during the week of April 12 to April 18.
Some of those incidents included:
April 12
• Vandals were reported to have damaged plants in the area of McMillan Street & Island Highway West, Parksville.
• A pair of Maui Jim sunglasses and change were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 500 block of Sandwedge Close, Qualicum Beach.
• A property had a glass front door reported damaged in the 100 block of Fern Road East, Qualicum Beach. Entry was not gained.
• A resident reported their purse being stolen while shopping in the 800 block of Island Highway West, Parksville.
• A private company fire truck was reported vandalized on a private road in the vicinity of Horne Lake Road, Qualicum Beach.

April 13
• Change, a gift card and sunglasses were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 800 block of Lakes Boulevard, Parksville.
• An orange bag containing clothing, a pair of shoes and a vehicle emergency kit was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 100 block of Corfield Street South, Parksville.
• A resident turned in cash found in front of the Springwood Elementary School, Parksville. Please contact Oceanside RCMP during regular business hours at 250-248-6111 to claim.
• Theft of change and paperwork from a vehicle was reported in the 800 block of Mulholland Drive, Parksville.
• A fence was reported cut and two storage containers entered in the 3100 block of Dogleg Road, Qualicum Beach. Some items reported stolen were a Coleman stove, Coleman tent, a Christmas tree, a 10×10 Coleman pop-up tent and a Bosch hammer drill.
• A Koolatron electric cooler was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 500 block of Wembley Road, Parksville.
• An unlocked vehicle was reported rummaged through in the 200 block of Elm Avenue, Qualicum Beach.
April 14
• Binoculars, a flashlight and a pair of shoes were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 600 block of Beach Road, Qualicum Beach.
• A vehicle and a moped were among the items stolen from a reported residential break-and-enter in the 800 block of Horne Lake Road, Qualicum Beach.
• Two yellow kayaks, one labelled Perception and the second Impulse 1.0, were reported stolen in the 6900 block of Island Highway West, Bowser.
• A Milwaukee drill set and other tools were reported stolen from a trailer in the area of Moilliet Street South and Despard • Avenue West, Parksville.

April 15
• A backpack style leaf blower was reported stolen in the 1200 block of Rath Road, Parksville.
• B.C. motorcycle licence Y71256 was reported lost in the 700 block of Wildgreen Way, Parksville.
• A radar detector was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 600 block of Spruce Street, Parksville.
• Two yellow Champion generators and a duplex cable were reported stolen in the 800 block of Fairdowne Road, Parksville.
• Change, sunglasses and a red Swiss army knife were reported from an unlocked vehicle in the 1400 block of Gabriola Drive, Parksville.
• Change, a folding pocket knife and a Bluetooth adaptor was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 300 block of 1st Avenue West, Qualicum Beach.
April 16
• A Makita circular saw, Makita reciprocating saw and other tools were reported stolen in the 1600 block of River Crescent, Parkville.
• B.C. vehicle plates ML6576 were reported stolen in the 1400 block of Huntley Road, Parksville.
• Locks were reported cut off of three storage units in the 2400 block of Alberni Highway, Coombs.
• A black pocket knife was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1300 block of Saturna Drive, Parksville. A second vehicle was also rummaged in the same block.
April 17
• A garden shed lock was reported broken off in the 200 block of Hickey Avenue, Parksville. Nothing was reported missing.
