Oceanside RCMP received 225 complaints during the week of Dec. 22-28.
Some of the incidents included:
Dec. 22
• A vehicle’s rear hinged window was reported damaged in the 200 block of Jensen Avenue East, Parksville.
Dec. 23
• A vehicle was reported to have been vandalized with black paint in the 1400 block of Beaver Creek Warf Road, Nanoose Bay.
• A sanitation pay station was reported broken into and damaged in a local provincial park.
• A black umbrella was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 700 block of Phillips Street, Parksville.
• A Christmas laser light decoration was reported stolen in the 100 block of Sylvan Crescent, Parksville.
• A Leatherman knife valued at $100 was reported stolen from one of two unlocked vehicles in the 600 block of Phillips Street, Parksville.
• A garage door and a neighbouring shed was reported to have been sprayed with graffiti in the 1700 block of Sangster Crescent, Nanoose Bay.
• A fence was reported to have been sprayed with graffiti in 1500 block of Madrona Drive, Nanoose Bay.
• A white 2000 Ford Focus, B.C. plate KA9-99G, was reported stolen from the 1500 block of Island Highway East, Nanoose Bay.
• Theft of mail from a super mail box was reported in 1300 block of Island Highway East, Nanoose Bay.
• A vehicle and shipping container were tagged with black paint in the 1700 block of Sangster Crescent, Nanoose Bay.

Dec. 24
• Damage to children’s park signage valued at approximately $100 was reported in the 100 block of Island Highway East, Parksville.
• A water pump and three batteries were reported stolen over the past three weeks from a property in the 1300 block of Alberni Highway, Parksville.
• A building was reported tagged with black spray paint in the 1700 block of Sangster Crescent, Nanoose Bay.
• Burnt cigarette butts, six small plants and a glass ornament was reported stolen from the porch of a property in the 400 block of Martindale Road, Parksville.
• An unlocked vehicle was reported rummaged through in the 600 block of Pym Street North, Parksville.
Dec. 26
• A possible business break-and-enter was reported in the 1100 block of Herring Gull Way, Parksville.
• A B.C. licence validation sticker was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1100 block of Fair Road, Parksville.

Dec. 27
• Various buildings, garbage cans and light standards were reported to have been sprayed with graffiti in the 400 block of Despard Avenue West, Parksville.
• A storage area was reported broken into in the 100 block of Middleton Avenue, Parksville.
• Cigarettes, an ash tray and dog treats were reported stolen from a property in the 200 block of Evergreen Street, Parksville.
• A B.C. licence validation sticker was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 700 block of Hollywood Road, Qualicum Beach.
Dec. 28
• A wallet, garage door opener, clothing and keys were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of Corfield Street, Parksville. There was no damage to vehicle.
• A silver-coloured ash tray was reported stolen from a patio in the 200 block of Evergreen Street, Parksville.
• Sunglasses, change, an e-cigarette and vehicle registration was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of Weld Street, Parkville.
• A tire was slashed on a vehicle in the 700 block of Island Highway East, Parksville.
