Pedestrian struck on Sooke Road; No charges expected

No charges are expected after a pedestrian was struck on Sooke Road Wednesday afternoon, police say.

No charges are expected after a pedestrian was struck on Sooke Road Wednesday afternoon, police say.

The incident took place around 5 p.m., when a white car struck a pedestrian by Edward Milne High School.

Sooke Road was temporarily closed because the car was undriveable and had to be towed. Traffic was redirected along Edward Milne Road in both directions.

The pedestrian was transported to Victoria General Hospital to be treated for injuries.
