CHARITABLE DONATIONOrv Robson of the Penny Lake Charity Shop Society presents a $1,000 cheque to Gail Harrison, past president and grants coordinator of Cops for Kids. Penny Lane presents a donation to Cops for Kids each year. The Cops for Kids tour, which passed through Summerland on Sept. 14, consists of 34 cyclists and six people on the support crew. The cyclists are from the RCMP and other enforcement agencies. Their ride is to raise awareness and money for children in medical, physical or traumatic crisis.(John Arendt/Summerland Review)
