All indoor group activities at the Penticton Community Centre will be suspended until at least April 19.
The announcement was made by the city today (March 29) after new province-wide restrictions were put in place that will suspend indoor group fitness activities and indoor dining at restaurants.
The new restrictions are effective from midnight March 29 to April 19 at midnight.

Participants registered in affected programs at the Penticton Community Centre will be contacted by a team member from Penticton’s recreation department with further information on refunds and rescheduling options.
All other recreation programs and individual reservations offered by the City of Penticton will continue as scheduled.
Continuing programs include public swim reservations in the leisure pool and main pool, fitness room reservations and one-on-one fitness room training with a personal trainer, youth programming, indoors and outdoors.
“The City of Penticton continues to diligently monitor all restrictions and sector guidelines to ensure that our COVID-19 safety plans are in compliance with orders and best practices for all city operations,” reads a new release from the city of Penticton.
